Summary
Adventure Koala and S.A.R.T. are recruited by Mayor Marigold to help Adventure Town's soccer team win the Super Soccer Cup against their rivals Big Bear City, who have won the last six championships. Mayor Bernard of Big Bear City has been taunting Mayor Marigold with boastful calls and videos about their winning streak. Adventure Koala assembles a soccer team including Zara Zebra (speed), Ollie Owl (goalkeeping), Gina Gecko (defense), and Harry Hare (offense). Big Bear City supporters orchestrate several sabotage attempts: altering road signs to get the team lost, canceling their hotel reservations forcing them into a dingy lodge, and double-booking their practice field. These obstacles demoralize the team, and by halftime they're losing 1-0. Adventure Koala delivers an inspiring halftime speech using animal puns to restore each player's confidence. The team rallies in the second half, with Zara scoring the tying goal and Harry scoring the winning goal with moments to spare. The victory silences the Big Bear City crowd and Mayor Bernard, who is humbled by Mayor Marigold's gracious victory speech. Bernard apologizes for his childish behavior and invites Adventure Town to celebrate, beginning a new friendship between the towns. Adventure Town finally brings the Super Soccer Cup home and celebrates through the night.
