Summary
Adventure Koala's latest invention goes awry just as Felix receives an unexpected letter from his family - the Fantastic Flying Foxworths, traveling performers who need Felix's help. His family has honored a century-old oath to perform at the Willowmere Festival every 25 years, but they're one fox short for their competition against their rivals, the Greymuzzles. Felix reluctantly agrees to help, and the entire S.A.R.T. team travels with the Foxworths to Willowmere. When Aunt Scarlett is injured, Adventure Koala disguises himself as a fox to fill the sixth spot. Through three competition events - Balance Beam Race, Riddle Contest, and Grand Finale Performance - the Foxworths (with their extended S.A.R.T. family) triumph over the technically perfect but soulless Greymuzzles. The story explores themes of family loyalty, belonging, and how family can be both blood relatives and chosen companions. Felix reconciles with his performing family while maintaining his rescue team identity, and both families are forever joined through the Honorary Fox Ceremony.
